♚ Story Compendium

Main Theme (Will be added to and changed as things are more thoroughly discussed). Over 1000 years have passed since the solar system's first integration attempt. As many of the originally colonized planets become increasingly unlivable, new technologies have allowed for sentient beings to develop life elsewhere. Natural resources are scarce, and while technology makes up for much of what was lost, organic materials are in high demand. Lack of information control and the introduction of global currencies has given rise to organized crime. This story in particular focuses on one such group that controls a large part of the middle-western solar system.

Body Type: Broad shouldered and lean-muscled
Physical Abnormalities: He has a large gash that runs over almost the entire right side of his face. His right eyeball is fake, and it's appearance often alternates thanks to Garamond's interest in collecting unique glass eyeballs. He has an impressive collection of scars, and he can recall a story for most of them. From the dip of his shoulders down to his tail bone there is a large, decorative black ink tattoo that spans across the width of his back.
Physical Performance Level: For his age, he's quite fit. He enjoys physical activity, and he keeps himself in decent shape. He is an excellent fighter and can travel long distances without tiring. Although old age has slowed him down somewhat, his performance level is still comparable to how it was in his prime- although occasionally he complains of shoulder and back pain.
Mental Condition: Questionable.


Personality: Garamond can be quite intimidating if you cross him in the wrong circumstances. He has been known to be relentless and cruel to his enemies. He is also, however, extremely loyal and understanding with his own crew. He has been known to give second chances, an uncommon trait of mobsters. He seems to have an especial soft spot for children. At times it can seem like Garamond doesn't carry himself seriously, but he can be quite serious when the moment calls for it. He's a man of humor. A jokester, you could say (though his jokes are sometimes only funny to himself). He likes to carry an air of cheerfulness with him. Which is at times... almost creepy. It's a wonder that someone that has seen that many deaths can keep up such a composure -- not to mention he probably has more responsibilities than a high-status political figure.
Brief History: Garamond adopted the role of Circle Seven's head figure at the age of 22 due to the unexpected death of his father. By the age of 25, Garamond had been married twice and had two sons. The son of his first wife escaped from Circle Seven shortly after his mother's death and is presumed dead. Following the advice of the seven branch leaders, Garamond became the first leader to choose a successor that is not blood related. Despite this, his second son, Danny, still maintains a position of power in the circle. Although he ran into a few mishaps earlier in his career, Garamond has grown into a strong and respectable leader.
