event!
Yeah, we went there. Blame Endy. You know the dealio: you're stuck in a closet - literally - with someone. A stranger, a person you hate, love, love but won't ever admit it-/shot
ANYWAY where the closet opens up to or how you even get out of there is all up to you. Maybe it's a ~*magical*~ closet, maybe it's an average ol' room. Just get creative!

Don't worry, Dojima-san. I totally get your hesitation. I mean, hey, I'm sure my heart'd beat a little faster and I'd get a little antsy in my pants if I was meeting a long-time crush like Captain Baldhead too.
[He puts the back of his hand on his forehead, in a mock swoon.]
I mean, that shiny scalp!
no subject
[He's probably used to it by now, judging by the punch to Adachi's shoulder that has enough force to be one of annoyance, yet not enough to be anything but play.]
no subject
Sheesh, no need to get physical!
no subject
[So dismissive, Dojima. He just keeps walking.]
no subject
Anyway, where do you think they keep the bridge? This place is a mess. There's no signs anywhere - it's worse than the country.
no subject
[Dojima's glare down at him is short-lived, before he looks back forward. Good thing, because just as Adachi mentions no signs, there's suddenly a signpost indicating which hall leads where! There's one to their left, right, and stairs going up. But...]
...What language is that?
[It looks like a mix of hieroglyphs, scribbles, and kindergarten handwriting.]
no subject
Y'think we should go back and find that octopus guy? Maybe he could read this and tell us what it means. I think he was speaking our language to us back there, right? And not some alien language where 'excuse me' actually means, 'I'm going to eat you in two seconds, tiny earthling?'
[Though the prospect of finding that thing isn't really appetizing. While they're both staring, neither of them exactly notice the few familiar figures coming towards them from the left hall - why, is that Captain Picard himself?]
no subject
[Wait, hold that thought. Are those footsteps? Dojima turns to look and oh my god what is that Picard. brb shock]
...

Universal translator things? Where'd you get that kind of a kooky idea idea from, another one of your sci-fi shows or some-
[Adachi doesn't notice until he looks up at Dojima and follows the other man's line of vision. He blinks too - he hadn't actually been expecting his joking to come true. As far as Picard and his crew are concerned, though, two Japanese men in boxers is nothing odd. In fact, the Captain amiably stops and salutes the two.]
no subject
...You've gotta be kidding me.
[Wait, shouldn't you have asked where you are or how you got here, Dojima?]
no subject
Shouldn't you go...I don't know, ask for the guy's autograph? Have him sign your arm or something? Or...
[He glances down, and then tugs at Dojima's waistband without any hesitation whatsoever despite the fact that they're in a public hallway in space.]
...Your boxers? 'Picard was here' or 'To Ryotaro, with love, Picard' across the back.
no subject
Stop that.
[It's hard to say if his face is tinted slightly because of Adachi, or the sheer fact that he ran into his sci-fi idol while wearing boxers.]
We should ask how to get out of here.
no subject
[Much too easy - that should've been a hint. Adachi promptly cups his hand over his mouth and shouts down the hall.]
Hey! Captain Picard! My friend wants to ask you something!
no subject
[It's a loud whisper, Dojima looking a little panicked. He looks even more startled with Picard stops and turns, looking at him curiously.]
...Er.
[A pause, before Dojima finally gets up the nerve to speak.]
That is... how do you get out of here?
no subject
The captain, obliviously amiable, does not notice this ill-will at all, however. He simply asks to clarify, 'Get out of where?']
no subject
[The most Dojima notices is the odd look on Adachi's face, and the sudden silence, for having just mockingly called on Picard himself.
The captain points down the left hall; the one he had just come from. 'Head that way, and you'll find some teleporters. One of the men there should be able to beam you out of here.']
no subject
Thanks, sir! Sorry for disturbing you. Man, you don't know how lost we got trying to figure out our way 'round the ship, but you're a real lifesaver.
no subject
Thanks, Captain.
[He gives a salute in passing, Picard heading back the opposite way with a nod. Once they're out of range, he lets go of Adachi.]

[So noble, Dojima!]
You are a jerk.
[He blinks innocently at Dojima.]
I have no idea what you're talking about. That was all heartfelt thanks, right there. Sheesh, you thank a guy and someone's gotta call it sarcasm. Just can't get a break around here...
:333c also sorry about the weird format and lack of suitable icon; mobile
and his secret love Picard.]no subject
[I mean, c'mon, how often are they going to be on the Enterprise. Even in Infinity.]
You don't wanna...look around first? Think about it - we're not really going to get the chance to see what it's like again. Unless watching reruns on the sci-fi channel's enough excitement for you.

[Not that Dojima would be the one to mess things up; of course it wouldn't be him.]
