[What a rough week.
Not that any week in Infinity is rough, given the lack of work, but sometimes those events take a lot out of a guy. Like those zombies, or swapping bodies, or countless other things that shouldn't be possible. It's not unusual for Dojima to hit up the bar, anyway - even if he is alone. There's nothing like a cool, soothing beer in the summer, too. Dojima finds himself easing already, bottle in hand, simply sitting at the bar and watching soccer. He was never much for sports (maybe a bit of baseball), but it's more entertaining to watch than he thought, especially with all the others in the place getting into it themselves. Not a bad atmosphere at all. He's still more subdued, though, what with being by himself. Oh well, still fun to watch.]

I know what you meant.
[Then he turns back to the TV screen, speaking loud enough for both the men to hear now.]
Nothin'. Don't worry about it.
no subject
Whoaaa! Did you see that one!
[Of course they hadn't - the Dojimas had been busy misconstruing his innocent wondering.]
That one just blasted right through their defense and everything! Man, I really don't know what you guys are talking about - this game is great!
[Sure it is, Adachi. Just not the soccer game.]

[Dojima takes his beer back from Adachi again, taking a drink, forgetting Adachi's teasing in favor of getting hyped over that goal. That beer has gotta be catching up pretty soon, too.]

Are you rooting for the same team too? Or playing for different sides?
[Of course he knows the innuendo won't get through. That's the fun of it, really.]
Maybe you guys are just general sports people. Play for both.
no subject
I’m just rooting for whoever’s winning, I guess.
no subject
It's just fun to watch.
no subject
Yeah, whoever's winning...guess that's pretty safe, but...what can you do in a situation like this? I mean, they're both playing pretty badly right now - the score's zilch to nada. Whoooa, that one, right there, way off the marker, huh, sir? Goalie could've just stood still and not lifted a finger and it would've sailed right past the net.
[While he's rambling harmlessly, though, one hand is drifting. It begins simply enough - a hand on his Dojima's knee, but as it has a tendency to do, considering its owner, it begins to wander. Under the counter, and with the game being as riveting as it was, it'd be hard for anyone to tell. Except the victim, of course.]

Er... Yeah, I think so.

[Speaking of excitement, before either of them can finish their beers and order more of that light fare, he raises a hand and orders something much better, rattling off the order so fluidly that it makes one wonder if he's used to relaying a series of similar orders before, perhaps back where he worked in the city with the head honchos.
The ice clinks in their glasses as a series of small glass cups filled three-quarters of the way with different-colored liquids is slid towards them. They range from clear, like water, to deep, rustic colors. Adachi slides a few of them over to either side, and to keep things from getting suspicious, keeps a few for himself.]
You guys should try these. The big wigs in the city always used to order 'em. Heard they make every game ten times more interesting. It sure makes you glad all the joints are free around here, though. Usually, I can't even afford these on my salary!
no subject
You like this kinda stuff? I always thought you were pretty weak to alcohol.
no subject
Y'know Adachi. Always a sucker for free stuff.
[Well, that much is true. Dojima can't count on two hands how often Adachi has dragged him along to get sea urchin. Anyway, Dojima is still pretty iffy about this drink. He turns it around in his fingers, suspicious. Not that Adachi could've laced it or anything, but it's certainly odd for him to order something like this, especially when two of them are probably approaching their limit.]
Anything this hard will make anything interesting, Adachi.
[Dojima must be tipsy enough to disregard it though, considering he downs it anyway.]
no subject
To tell you the truth, I haven't had enough to know if I like it or not. Like I said, couldn't really afford it on my pay.
[He takes a sip, face twisting.]
Euch. This one's sweet! Yours any better?
[Keep talking, he thinks. The more he talks, the less time they have to think about refusing.]
no subject
But it’s not bad. Not too cheap tasting, at least.
no subject
Just vodka. Not bad, but a little strong.
no subject
Well, can't waste it if it's expensive.
[(It's an Asian thing.) He lets out a small burp and reaches for the next one, already pulling at his collar to fake the heated flush that comes with drinking, puffing up his cheeks and blowing out air.]
Kind of stuffy in here...what's this one?
no subject
Sure you're ok drinking all that?
no subject
Dun' worry. He can take it. Gotta catch up with us, huh?
no subject
I don't know sir...this stuff is a little...
[Yawwwn.]

Quit messin' with him. He doe'nt know better.
[He says it low enough to where the other him doesn't hear, plopping his forehead down against the back of his palm, on Adachi's shoulder, still chuckling. Looks like he hit his limit.]
no subject
Looks like we're all pretty knackered, huh? Better get you guys home before Nanako-chan starts to worry again.
[Because that's the trump card, the be-all, end-all as far as Dojima is concerned. There are no wiser words. Adachi even manages a bit of a slur of his own, stressing the 'worry', leaning back against the other Dojima's weight.]
C'mon. I can drop you off, sir. It's on the way - least I could do for the drinks.
[It's close enough to conversation in similar circumstances back in Inaba that maybe if he's lucky, this Dojima won't even notice the difference and just go along with it (or so he hopes).]
