[What a rough week.
Not that any week in Infinity is rough, given the lack of work, but sometimes those events take a lot out of a guy. Like those zombies, or swapping bodies, or countless other things that shouldn't be possible. It's not unusual for Dojima to hit up the bar, anyway - even if he is alone. There's nothing like a cool, soothing beer in the summer, too. Dojima finds himself easing already, bottle in hand, simply sitting at the bar and watching soccer. He was never much for sports (maybe a bit of baseball), but it's more entertaining to watch than he thought, especially with all the others in the place getting into it themselves. Not a bad atmosphere at all. He's still more subdued, though, what with being by himself. Oh well, still fun to watch.]

You really like getting yourself in trouble, don't you? Go explain everything to him.

C'mon, Dojima-san, it's not like I really did anything - you guys just jumped to conclusions! I was doing you guys a favor, undressing you before you got to sleep so you wouldn't get stuffy! That's all!
no subject
Yeah, I'm sure. Never mind your spare room, huh? And if I remember right, you were jumping to conclusions pretty quick yourself. Maybe to give us the wrong idea?
[More than a year with Adachi has certainly given him some insight as to Adachi's behavior. This Dojima knows better. He finally lets go when the coffee maker beeps, pulling out three cups.]
You still owe him an explanation.
no subject
You want me to tell him everything?
no subject
No. You know what I meant.

[Mutter, mutter, complain. Maybe a mumble about how the other one might be nicer as he shuffles out.
Pft, as if.]no subject
Yeah, right. It's one more extra cup than he's used to, but he manages well enough, carrying his and Adachi's coffee in one hand, and the other Dojima's in his left. He sets them down at the dining room table(AKA the Very Fucking Awesome Table), sitting down in his usual spot at the head of the table as he calls out.]Coffee's ready.

He pulls out a chair.]
Why don't you sit down first, sir?
[Stalling. Adachi's never been too good with admitting things.]
no subject
[That much is true - Adachi really is no good (by Dojima's standards) at making coffee. It might strike his other self as odd for something like that to become habit, though. Back then, Dojima making the coffee was a rarity that only happened when the man realized how lucky he actually was to have family at all. Taking a good gulp of coffee, he points over at Adachi.]
Anyway, he has something to tell you.

You know, you guys were really loud last night-
no subject
Adachi thought it'd be funny to play a prank on us.
no subject
So this whole thing was a set-up?!
no subject
A set-up? Nah, you've got it all wrong! I just didn't want you guys to get stuffy overnight. Infinity weather can get pretty unpredictable, and the AC's broken - dunno when they'll come to fix that, can't count on anyone around here sometimes. And then when we woke up - it's just that you guys were already well on your way to assuming, so I figured that you could do with some lightening up. Right?
Heheh, just a little fun, Dojima-san! No need to get so worked up about it!
no subject
...Well, he'll let Dojima get that anger out of his system for now. Sorry Adachi, you set yourself up, if anything.]
no subject
You planned that, didn’t you?!
no subject
[Adachi looks aghast, reeling back in his chair with an offended hand to his chest.]
Aww, c'mon, Dojima-san, cut me some slack! I look like the planning type to you?
no subject
[Don't want this to get too out of hand, and there's something weird about listening to himself yell at Adachi. (Brings back memories, maybe; unpleasant ones.) Dojima leans back in his chair, coffee still cupped in his palms on the table.]
Actually need to talk to you about something else.

[Adachi turns to the other Dojima with a similarly curious expression, echoing his words.]
no subject
About why it seems like we're actin' so strange.
no subject
Well I'm listening.

Well, uh... it's hard to explain, but Adachi and I are from March 2012. Case closed n' everything. But I can't tell you anything else about it. Things are a lot different, though. Guess it's not as weird as other dimensions or doubles.
