First post, whoo!
[There's what seems to be a hobo asleep on a bench, not-so-quietly snoring. Leave him be? Bother him? Push him off? ...Give him 20 bucks?]

no subject
Hopefully it doesn't happen again.

[See, even Edgeworth can tease. Sometimes.]
he's going to jump you one of these days for those bedroom eyes-
I'll try to avoid it if possible.
go for it-
[They drive for a little while before they come to a row of classy, upscale clothing stores. Perfect. He starts looking for a place to park.]
maybe another day. <:
Phoenix has started to fall asleep again.]
no subject
Wright. We've arrived.
[Have a sharp jab to the shoulder, Phoenix.]
no subject
Mmh? ...Oh.
[Phoenix sits up again, undoing his seat belt, with a not-entirely-oblivious grin.]
no subject
Now, we should be able to find you something decent here.
[He gestures towards the store... which is probably fancier than anywhere Phoenix has ever shopped in his life.]
no subject
Hm... Are you sure about this?
[Phoenix looks the place over, immediately realizing that something from here is probably more than one of his paychecks could afford him.]
no subject
[Pfft. That's pocket change to Edgeworth.]
I don't mind doing something for a friend who needs it.
[He opens the door for the both of them, stepping inside. Very fancy.]
no subject
Well, I don't need it, but you seem to think I do, so...
[He looks over at Edgeworth.
Maybe because looking at the clothes is intimidating.]Thanks.
no subject
[So it's not like he's doing it out of the goodness of his heart or something >.> cough. The clerk gives the two of them a funny look as they walk in... which Edgeworth staunchly ignores.]
no subject
[Phoenix, on the other hand, realizing how odd it must look for someone upscale like Edgeworth to be walking in with someone low-class like himself, waves right at the clerk. He can at least afford some manners.]
...But still, it's nothing.
no subject
[Just IGNORES that wave too. He's a professional. He doesn't let himself get annoyed by small things like that.]
Now, I suppose we should start by looking for the jacket and trousers...

[Meaningful look at your outfit. Ahem.]
But I'll let you have some say, of course. We could purchase a blue suit, just like your old one, if you wish.
no subject
Trying to remind me of the old days?
no subject
[Stubbornly browsing a row of fancy jacket/pant combos. They certainly have some interesting colors... just about every color you can imagine. Edgeworth is going to aim a little more conservatively for Phoenix, though.]
no subject
[Good, because Phoenix would be too nice to say he wouldn't wear something too over the top. But Edgeworth is a reasonable guy, and surely he knows that. For now, he just peruses the clothes.]
Are you sure it's the right weather for a jacket, though?
[And yes, he is currently wearing a jacket.]
no subject
[Wait a sec.]
...And you're wearing a jacket, too.
[SIGH.]
no subject
[Maybe Phoenix just forgot how used to it he was, considering the restaurant he works in is freezing.]
So what do you suggest from here?
[He nods his head towards the row of clothes.]
I don't think pink would suit me as well as you, though.
no subject
[Honestly Wright, can't you tell a pink from a maroon?]
How about this?
[He points out a nice, dark blue set. See? Nothing ridiculous here.]
no subject
Hm...
[Phoenix crosses his arms, pretending to scrutinize the set, as though he actually knows the quality of what he's looking at.]
Are you sure this would match my hat?
no subject
[And there's no ifs, ands, or buts about that one.]
no subject
But I always wear my hat.
