SUDDENLY, YOU'RE STUCK IN A DARK CLOSET WITH...

Yeah, we went there. Blame Endy. You know the dealio: you're stuck in a closet - literally - with someone. A stranger, a person you hate, love, love but won't ever admit it-/shot

ANYWAY where the closet opens up to or how you even get out of there is all up to you. Maybe it's a ~*magical*~ closet, maybe it's an average ol' room. Just get creative!

[Fake or not, Adachi's already shying away, hiding behind Dojima and using the other man as a solid meatshield between him and that eye.]

Pretty weird place to put Halloween props. Is there a door behind me?

[Dojima sighs, knowing full well he's being used as a shield. Now it's his turn to get uncomfortable close to Adachi as he searches behind him, feeling along the wall.]

I think I feel something...

[Adachi hooks one arm around Dojima's waist as he leans back, chuckling.]

[Adachi rolls his eyes. Okay, fine, fine, all business, he gets it.]

Then what is it?

[Hey, he was the one wanting to get away from the eyeball.]

Hard to see, but... Feels like it could be a door.

[His fingers are sliding against what feels like the frame. But... where's the knob?]

[No need for a knob when the door gives away with just a little push - perhaps the mess they made earlier had already loosened it. Either way, Adachi falls through it without something to support him, and his grip on Dojima slackens as he goes tumbling back into the newly-revealed hallway.]

[Dojima goes tumbling out after him, and poor unlucky Adachi gets the man's full weight on top of him before either can get their balance.]

[Have some hands scrabbling across the floor. You might want to stop suffocating him with your chest, Dojima.]

[Dojima pushes up, getting to his feet, holding a hand out to help Adachi up. The hallway isn't very telltale in terms of where they are.]

You recognize this place?

[Adachi takes the hand, pulling himself up as well, and as always, with a flair for dramatics, he coughs a little, looking around.]

No, but I don't recognize half the places we find, sometimes. Besides, where else are you going to-

[He stops, spotting a window beside the closet that they had just burst out of. The backdrop is one of endless black, littered with stars and galactic dust and-]

...Is this a spaceship?!

[He heads towards the nearest intersection, turning down it without waiting for Dojima.]

[Caught staring out, Dojima loses sight of Adachi pretty quick. Can't blame him for being distracted.]

...Hey, wait!

[He hurries down the hall, but not without glancing out each and every window as he passes by them.]

You can't just go around opening exits!

Aww, c'mon, Dojima-san. It's not really space, it's not like it's going to suck me right out into that screen-window-thing and I'll explode.

[Dismissive - too dismissive. Adachi starts pushing the open button on every door he finds, and doesn't stop until...a large, tentacled purple creature stares down at him from behind one of them. He freezes.

It says, "Excuse me," in some weird, bubbly voice.

...Nope, he's still frozen.]

[Wait. What the hell is...

Dojima skids to a stop by Adachi, frozen as well. (This time, Dojima might be the one using Adachi as a shield.)]

[It repeats, 'Excuse me' again, a little more impatiently this time. Adachi steps back into Dojima, pushing the both of them in dumbstruck, open-mouthed, eyes-widened shock, backwards. The alien (it really can only be that) slides past, leaving a small trail of neon green residue in its wake, that evaporates and dries up in a blink of the eye. As it rounds the corner, out of earshot-]

[That indeed warranted a stare, and it's not until it's completely out of sight that Dojima looks back at Adachi.]

...You were saying? About this being a set-up?

[Hey, weren't you just saying that about the eye in the jar, Dojima?]

[He's stubborn about it, but if it were just a costume, would you look that disturbed, Adachi? Subconsciously, he steps a little closer to Dojima. He's got to be within arm's reach of his meatshield, after all.]

[It's grasping at straws, they both know it. Suddenly, Adachi brightens, taking Dojima by the wrist and dragging the other man further down the hall.]

[That was an odd change in demeanor. But Dojima's not about to separate from his only company here, so he lets himself be dragged.]

[Turning around, Adachi fixes Dojima with the most It's Obvious look ever.]

Gonna find Captain Picard, of course.
