IDENTITY CRISIS

Uh oh. Everyone seems to have forgotten themselves. Literally. People are starting to think they're someone else; even people they don't even know. (AKA: not limited to the character's fandom k) They suddenly develop habits they've never had, unfamiliar urges, strange phrases - the whole shebang. Confuse your fandom mates, or even strangers. They may even be them - or you.

Feel free to work with this however you want. Trigger it, slowly work into their 'new personality', or maybe they just woke up that way. As for how they snap out of it... that's up to you. Or if they do. Have fun with it!

[Adachi's turn to be grabbing people by their wrists.]

A mission? You don't even have a job around here - how can you have a mission? ...Did Nanako-chan tell you to get something for her?

[Dojima halts, looking over his shoulder.]

Top secret. Can't tell ya'.

[Flat look. You're getting senile if you think he's going to let go of it that easily.]

Hey, is that Shirogane?

[Dojima looks over Adachi's shoulder, looking surprised.]

N-Naoto-kun? Where?

[You sly devil, you. He lets go instantly, turning around to catch a glimpse of that dashing gentle...woman.]

[With a smirk, Dojima dashes off into the alley. Naturally, there's no Naoto in sight - just an empty sidewalk. If Adachi looks into the alley, there won't be a soul in sight there, either. (But he already has a hint where to look, huh?)]

[Upon realizing he's been duped, Adachi whirls onto the alley with a frown. That old man, thinking he could pull one over on him? Well, that hint he gave earlier didn't help Dojima one bit. Neither did the end of what seemed to be a red tie, sticking out from under the cardboard box. Slowly approaching it, Adachi taps his chin, eyes scrolling around the area.]

Now jeez, I wonder where Dojima-san could be? There isn't a person in sight around here. It couldn't be that he-

[A very fake mock gasp.]

-disappeared?!

[As he shouts out the word, he rams his heel down onto the tip of Dojima's tie, kicking off the cardboard box with his other foot.]

[Joke's on you, Adatsumi Tohji - that's simply a decoy. Under the box is nothing but his tie. ...And his shirt, actually.

Further down the alley, though, a box is making its getaway, turning the corner.

Give chase: Y/N?]

[Adachi just turns around, staring incredulously at that painfully obvious box creeping its way down the sidewalk.]

Is he seriously half-naked under that thing?

[He's not, but it's not like Ada-...tsumi will know that. The box just continues on its merry way, until turning another corner.]

[Considering Dojima is a fully-grown man cramped up inside that box, he doesn't move very fast. Catching up is simply a matter of seconds. Adachi falls into step along side the little toddling cube.]

Dojima-san, what are you doing?

[The box stops, and a heavy sigh sounds from it.]

There's just no getting rid of you, huh?

[Standing up, 'Dojima' puts the box aside, revealing his ~*spiffy*~ new bandanna and sneaking suit top - complete with vest with needed mission accessories. (Nope, he doesn't stand out at all.)]

Call me Snake.

[Now that's an entrance odd enough to make Adachi stumble back, tripping over the edge of the sidewalk and landing ungracefully on the road. Those...clothes were awfully...form-fitting.]

Wh-what the hell are you wearing?! What's wrong with you?

Shh! I told you. I'm on a mission.

[He glances around quickly, before pulling Adachi up and into the nearest alley with surprising swiftness, where they won't be spotted. That's definitely a reaction befitting on Tatsumi, not triggering the Dojima side of... Snakejima.]

[There's just a moment of sputtering from Adachi. Close quarters like this, even without the combat part of it, is still rather tough on the Kanji part of him.]

Wh-what mission is it that you have to dress like that?

[He has to fight to keep his eyes from trailing down.]

[Luckily, Snake side is oblivious.]

An escort mission. You're in danger, you know.

[All but blurting it out:]

What? I'm in danger?

[A nod, and he covers the man's mouth with a hand before he can blurt anything else out.]

Just follow me.

[He motions further down the alley, taking a step in that direction, his guard up.]

[Adachi looks to the side, flushing darkly.]

There's nothing there! Why are you leading me into an all-

W-w-wait!

[If it were possible, he turns even darker, shaking his head and waving his fists (not hands) in front of him.]

No way! Nuh-uh! You got it all wrong! I'm not that kinda guy!

[Dojima just stares at him for a good moment.]

You're making this assignment much more of a hassle than it needs to be. What are you, a high schooler?

[Rather than going and forcing him along, he kicks a nearby wall - which reveals it not to be a wall at all, but a vent big enough to kneel in, the screen thunking to the ground.]

We're wasting time.

[A silent stare from vent to Dojima.]





You've got another thing coming if you think you're going to push me in there, pal.

[A pause, and Dojima reaches into his vest, pointing what looks like a gun at him. (No worries, it's actually a tranquilizer.)]

Then I'll drag you in. Which one will it be?
