IDENTITY CRISIS

Uh oh. Everyone seems to have forgotten themselves. Literally. People are starting to think they're someone else; even people they don't even know. (AKA: not limited to the character's fandom k) They suddenly develop habits they've never had, unfamiliar urges, strange phrases - the whole shebang. Confuse your fandom mates, or even strangers. They may even be them - or you.

Feel free to work with this however you want. Trigger it, slowly work into their 'new personality', or maybe they just woke up that way. As for how they snap out of it... that's up to you. Or if they do. Have fun with it!

[Hands in his pockets, Dojima starts heading back towards that alley - to get that box, no doubt.]

H-hey! Wait up! You can't just leave it open-ended like that!

[When more Adachi-esque pleading doesn't seem to work, he circles around, cutting Dojima off. All right, you asked for it. It's...Adatsumi time!]

You better tell me what I want to know, old man, or I'll beat you so hard you won't even see next week!

[It might've been more effective if he didn't have to get up on his toes to issue that threat.]

[He stops at the very least, and gives a laugh.]

Grrrr! You asked for it, you old stiff!

[The fist does fly without warning, making up for in speed what it doesn't in brute strength. It also stops a few inches before hitting Dojima in the face, though, the...Adachi part of Adatsumi keeping it in hold. Slowly, he lowers it, frowning.]

F-fine! Suit yourself! No one wanted to know anyway!

[Now that's pretty Adachi-like. He turns with a huff. Fine, Dojima could go skulking off in his secret hobo boxes to see his secret friends. None of his business. (He was still holding an unlit cigarette.)]

[Dojima doesn't even flinch. Had the fist gone an inch further, the Snake part of Dojima would've pulled out some fancy CQC on him. (Close-quarters combat, that is.) But since he doesn't, something about that huffy attitude catches his attention instead, and he grabs the other man's wrist again - but he stares down at Adachi's hand in confusion.]

Something's... weird.

[So coherent.]

[Adachi doesn't tug free this time. Instead, he turns around, giving Dojima an incredulous stare.]

I know - I mean, since when did you have friends?

[A sigh, and he lets go, scratching his head in thought.]

Doesn't it feel like we're... different?

[As if just realizing Dojima had been holding his hand, Adachi draws his wrist back to him, covering it with his other palm, flushing a little.]

D-different how?

[On second glance, wow it's really strange to see Adachi look so... abashed.]

[Suddenly, he's getting an urge to put the guy in a chokehold. Or tranq him.]

[After a moment, he seems to ease.]

...What's that look for?

[He retreats a step. He's seen Dojima in a murderous mood before, but something about that is different...]

I have a mission to take care of.

[With that, he heads back to his original destination in the alley.]

[Adachi's turn to be grabbing people by their wrists.]

A mission? You don't even have a job around here - how can you have a mission? ...Did Nanako-chan tell you to get something for her?

[Dojima halts, looking over his shoulder.]

Top secret. Can't tell ya'.

[Flat look. You're getting senile if you think he's going to let go of it that easily.]

Hey, is that Shirogane?

[Dojima looks over Adachi's shoulder, looking surprised.]

N-Naoto-kun? Where?

[You sly devil, you. He lets go instantly, turning around to catch a glimpse of that dashing gentle...woman.]

[With a smirk, Dojima dashes off into the alley. Naturally, there's no Naoto in sight - just an empty sidewalk. If Adachi looks into the alley, there won't be a soul in sight there, either. (But he already has a hint where to look, huh?)]

[Upon realizing he's been duped, Adachi whirls onto the alley with a frown. That old man, thinking he could pull one over on him? Well, that hint he gave earlier didn't help Dojima one bit. Neither did the end of what seemed to be a red tie, sticking out from under the cardboard box. Slowly approaching it, Adachi taps his chin, eyes scrolling around the area.]

Now jeez, I wonder where Dojima-san could be? There isn't a person in sight around here. It couldn't be that he-

[A very fake mock gasp.]

-disappeared?!

[As he shouts out the word, he rams his heel down onto the tip of Dojima's tie, kicking off the cardboard box with his other foot.]

[Joke's on you, Adatsumi Tohji - that's simply a decoy. Under the box is nothing but his tie. ...And his shirt, actually.

Further down the alley, though, a box is making its getaway, turning the corner.

[Adachi just turns around, staring incredulously at that painfully obvious box creeping its way down the sidewalk.]

Is he seriously half-naked under that thing?
